Event Promotions Coordinator

Job Overview:

As an Event Promotions Coordinator, you will be a vital contributor to the success of our festivals and events. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around coordinating onsite activations, implementing effective promotional strategies, and providing support in the production of music events. Your creativity, organizational skills, and strong communication abilities will be instrumental in driving attendance, enhancing the event experience, and maximizing event exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate Onsite Activations
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to plan and execute onsite activations, including interactive experiences, sponsor activations, and brand installations.
    • Ensure that all onsite activations align with the event’s overall theme, brand guidelines, and target audience preferences.
    • Oversee logistics, setup, and teardown of onsite activations, ensuring a smooth and seamless execution.
  2. Implement Promotional Strategies:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive promotional plans to generate buzz, increase event attendance, and maximize ticket sales.
    • Utilize a variety of marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, postering, and traditional advertising, to effectively reach the target audience.
  3. Assist in Event Production:
    • Collaborate with the event production team to ensure all aspects of event planning and execution align with the overall vision and objectives.
    • Have the opportunity to work onsite at our festivals and events in a variety of different roles. Such as box office, hospitality, and promotions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in marketing, event management, communications, promotions or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience in event promotions, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen eye for detail, creativity, and a passion for creating memorable event experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using event management software and tools is a plus.
